Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon

  I must admit after reading some of the comments I have to agree with them, they need to look at the airconditioner no matter what the temperature is outside it is always freezing and I think the meals are expensive for what you get and are very unappetizing, I ordered soup which came out 1/2 hour after my friend's meal and it was luke warm after telling the waitress she took it off me zapped it in the microwave then it was hot on the outside and cold in the middle, I have dined there a few times now and I will never go back, it's a shame because when it first open there were queues out the door and the food was fantastic but slowly it is going down hill, I am surprised it is still around.   (time to shut shop - May, 2009)

  Absolutely disgusting!! I'll never go here again. Food was cold. Fish was still frozen. They forgot to bring our salads. When asked if our meals were ok, i said no and told them what my complaints were. There was no apology...nothing!! Prices were rediculous for what we got...never ever again.   (yuk - December, 2008)

  Entrees were served without plates. When the 5 plates arrived, 2 had food residue on them and 1 had a chip out of it. It took 5 minutes to get these replaced by which time the chicken wings and garlic bread were cold. The manageress was unhelpful, bordering on hostile and a discount of $5 from a bill of $160 was all that was eventually offered. This establishment should be called the No Star Steakhouse.   I can't complain about the customer service, the girls where great and did their jobs well, but 5 out of 7 steaks where not cooked how they where ordered. I presume there was a mixup in the kitchen?   (Tracy - November, 2008)

  Service here is terrible! Takes forever for meals to arrive. Waiters forget to bring drinks and/or dishes to the table. It is near impossible to flag down a waiter. When food arrives it is often cold. Air-conditioning is too cold.I have been here quite a few times and it always disappoints.   (kittykatt - See my reviews (2) - August, 2008)

  Very good value for money. The only problem we had was that we were sitted right under a speaker and when the PA was being used for orders it was like sitting at a train station with the announcements (very loud and unpleasant) appart from that the service was good and food was excellent.   (August, 2007)

  Delightful flavors and textures with the variety of salads and veggies. Thick full flavoured steaks and great atmosphere with a shining smiley service. It is rewarding and a great place to take the family out. Go Lone Star! You beauty!   (8.5 - January, 2007)
