We dined on a Saturday night so naturally it was abuzz with families and children which we're quite happy with as we have two young children also. Food was very average, if that. We had two tables and my best friend's dish came out 30 minutes before everyone elses. I ordered the nachos as I wasn't extremely hungry anyway and didn't feel in the mood to spend $20-30 on a main (thank goodness I didn't- no one raved about anything). The nachos was brought out burnt on the edges and sent it back only for the manager or hostess in charge to explain to me that's the only way to melt the cheese. Like seriously, turn down the oven or add more cheese, certainly they would not sell nachos like this every day. I ended up eating it around the burnt bits. It was OK. My husband ordered the seafood basket and he said it was the worst dish he's ever eaten. Ambience was fine, games area entertained the children but not many people in my group were particularly happy for the food.   (Liz185 - March, 2011)

Food was mediocre, don't know where the two other reviewers usually eat but obviously not anywhere classy, Service was OK restaurant was noisy, and full of kids (we went Sunday lunch, maybe that was where we made our mistake) I thought it was expensive for run of the mill food and the local RSL in Greensborough's food is better   (Jabba - September, 2009)

The food was delicious, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, we couldn't have asked for more.

Not too bad...but nothing to spectacular....everything is just OK.The Grilled Fish shouldn't be too oily...and the med rare steak should not too much blood.   (See my reviews (2) - August, 2008)

Great setting and a good clean and modern pub. Food very good and fair value. I'll be going back however, be warned - the bouncers are thugs who were very keen to escalate some trouble that started the (Friday) night that I was there.   (Jim - May, 2008)

Lovely food but serves are too big. One meal took way too long to be served others almost finished but recognised as unacceptable by staff who compensated with complimentary tea and coffee. Overall very enjoyable and I will not hesitate to come back and I will recommend LPH to my friends   (April, 2008)
