We were greeted nicely, but that's about the best thing this place has to offer. Our chicken came out and it wasn't cooked, literally raw inside. We waited over 45 minutes for our mains, and no compensation was offered. I definitely wouldn't go back.   (Emma - March, 2011)

Never trust an Indian restaurant where the front of house staff are not Indian.

Service was OK - received our main course before finishing our starter.

Food was poor - too much sauce not enough meat. Quite frankly tasted like a shop bought sauce.

If this is the best Indian restaurant in Noosa, then god help the rest   (Steve - November, 2010)

We went as a family, Myself, my husband and three hungry boys aged 12,13 and 15. The boys had chosen an Indian meal for Dinner, and we set off, very hungry in earnest to find a restaurant. As we were on holiday it was a guessing game. We passed an Indian on the opposite side of the road which was empty - so hot footed it over to the Magic of India, where we saw a couple collecting their Takeaway. We thought if they were local then they were obviously happy with the food, so we chanced it... we were met by a delightful man who directed us to a table, stating that it was reserved but he would sort another table for the other party. I must admit, I thought that as it was a quiet Tuesday night, he was wishful thinking to think that he would run out of space. Well we all looked at the menu and it all looked delightful to say the least. Being hungry we ordered starters, a mixed platter and some Tandorri prawns for the adventurous 15 year old. Food soon arrived, piping hot and the aromas were outstanding. After a lot of Ohhhs and Ahhhs - the plates were all empty, and we had all had a taste of everything and couldn't fault a thing. By now a few other guests arrived in the restaurant and it was a little busier. A short while later, our main courses arrived along with the nam breads. Absolutely outstanding - the best any of us have ever tasted, Plenty to go around, again we all sampled each others meals, and couldn't agree on who's meal was the best, they were all so tasty and full of spice. We were all in our elements, 2 of our sons had been daring and advanced up from a korma to a tikka marsala - I must admit their curries were hot, but they loved them, and one again there was nothing left on our plates. The restaurant by now was full, not a spare table in sight. Fair play to the staff, there was not enough of them to cater for a busy full house - but they managed so well. We decided after such lovely starters and main course, it would be rude to go without a dessert. The boys opted for cooling icecream, while we tried traditional Indian desserts - would you believe - stunning.

Our only regret is we live 2 hours away - but we'll definitely return and recommend it to all our friends. The Magic of India - is truly magic. We thank them for making a night out, a meal to remember.   (kami - August, 2010)
