Our restaurant prides itself on quality and innovation. Lunch? Try our very own hand made gnocchi with blue cheese sauce, rosemary & garlic, roast desiree potatoes or maybe our Tasmanian Salmon, crushed garlic Kipfler potato, velvet pea sauce, Yarra Valley Salmon caviar. Dinner could be a magical three course meal ending with a Honeycomb Semi Freddo wrapped in bitter dark Chocolate leaf with peanut butter cookie and 42 Below "Manuka" honey vodka syrup. Sides begin from $6.50, mains from $18.

Tellegio Cheese (Daily Selection) - Italy: please ask for today's seasonal variety, this cheese is matured in damp caves cut into the mountainside just below the snow line in Italy, after being stacked in traditional wooden boxes for 30 days the cheese develops a thin orange rind flecked with mould, inside the thin crusty skin is a mild creamy paste with a hint of yeast

Brique D'Affinois - Pelussin, France: a cheese made by Fromagerie Guilloteau near Pelussin, France and is based on the traditional ‘Brique' shape of the region, this is an elegant cheese with a mixed washed/white rind, slightly pungent, it develops into a mild silky texture as it ripens

Calendar Selected Farmhouse Cheddar -West country, England: mature, cloth bound farmhouse cheddar made the old fashioned way is hard to find, and demand is growing stronger than supply. This cheese is regional and selected for its crumbly moist texture and lingering tang, but because each cheese is hand crafted, the flavour will vary from one batch to the next.

Papillon Black Label Roquefort - Roquefort, France: this is one of the only Roquefort varieties that use a special mould grown on rye bread deep underground in the company's caves during autumn, this is ground to a powder and used to seed the young curds during cheese making. The black wrapped foil cheese is officially recognised by the prestigious Guild des Fromagers.

It was a wonderful experience. Had never witnessed a live jazz band before, the band members were professional and highly entertaining. The music itself brought sheer joy and happiness to our table.
