    Food was absolutely delicious, however delivery was over 90 minutes both times i have ordered them, and each time they have said it "wouldnt be that long". give it 2 hours to deliver, if you want to try the food.   (kaljit - See my reviews (3) - May, 2013)

    The delivery took just over an hour and the food was lukewarm and needed to be reheated when it arrived. The bhajis were burnt and dry, the sauce was runny and tasteless. The dhal makhani was good, spicy and tasty. The chicken tikka was good but not great. The nan bread was on the small size and quite soggy.   (Amy - May, 2013)

    Never again !!!! Food took over 1hour for delivery. When the food eventually arrived half of my order was missing. After dealing with a very uncooperative delivery man, I began to sit down to my meal, only to end up throwing it out as it was ice cold and terrible.     Utterly disappointed. Ordered at 2.30. Told it would arrive at 3.47, eventually got it at 5.00. I called and the driver asked me how to spell Balmain then said my street didn't exist. Then they'd forgotten a $6.90 bottle of soft drink with the order.   (Max - April, 2013)

    sever food poisoning from there chicken ticka masala, and there mix veg curry was terrible, never eating here again. there's a LOTS better Indian around, wont eat here if you paid me   (See my reviews (6) - April, 2013)

    Food from my preferred restaurant is always good. Menulog service is very poor. CRAP infact. I would not recommend using them at all. This is the 5th time I've used the service and my food has taken over 2 hours to arrive from a local restaurant...   (Christopher - February, 2013)

    I ordered at 20:32 with an expected delivery time of 21:32. It's now 21:45, we're starving and it's not here. I phoned them about a minute ago and they said that the driver would arrive in about 15 minutes, which, if they do arrive at that specific time, would be 1 hour and 30 minutes approx from the time we ordered to the time we receive our meal.     Food is nice if only it wasn't so hot! Asked for a mild/medium curry but it was more like medium/hot whereas my partner's medium curry was mild. Maybe they didn't check the requests about the food.

    Would be good if they had another mixed seasonal vegetarian dish that didn't have currants and paneer in it.   (Alison - January, 2013)

    Ordered several times and it's alright, nothing exciting.

    Last time I ordered however, the driver sat outside my building, gave me a call and said, 'I'm outside, collect your meal'. Not so polite, so I said buddy you're the one who's supposed to deliver the meal, not the other way around.   (Naman - See my reviews (11) - January, 2013)

    Good variety, prompt delivery but I ve ordered from other Indian restaurants nearby that serve more delicious food than maya dhaba. Also its a bit pricey. n the min del fee is 30 which i struggle to get to considering its mostly just for myself.     Firstly Maya Da Dhaba are my fave indian restaurant atm.

    It's the most flavoursome I've had, the dishes don't all taste the same like a lot of other indian places, quality is top notch and they have a great selection of dishes that I haven't seen elsewhere.

    Now,

    if you are going to order tthe problem you are possibly going to encounter is the delivery can be a problem. It may arrive at an ok time but it also may take a loooonnnggg time.

    Hence I recommend doing an "order for later"well in advance or ordering at a time when there is likely not to be a lot of orders. They do have great delivery hours which you can take advantage of.

    The other problem is the price. They are expensive, but given how much I like their food I'm willing to pay for it. Do wish they were cheaper though. Also for mains I tend to order veg dishes and get a lot of breads to lower the overall cost.

    For this order quality and value were as above. Speed this time - they were half hour late for an order for later delivery (food was still hot though). Normally they are on time in my experience but looking at other reviewers delivery speed really is an issue.

    So highly recommended however if you haven't planned ahead there is a high risk you will be in for a long wait.   (nathan - See my reviews (61) - December, 2012)

    My second time ordering from here.

    The Good: Food was tasty but only warm/cool on arrival (see below). Easily re-heated.

    Delivery time estimate was off by over two hours! Rang after delivery was one hour late and was told the delivery was on its way. Waited another 1 hour 15 minutes for the food to travel 2km.

    Need to sort out the delivery time issues. Two and half hours is too long.   (JC - See my reviews (2) - December, 2012)

    They forgot the papadoms which I didn't mind too much but then the curry had only a small amount of chicken in it and was very runny like soup (butter chicken). It was tasty just a shame about the consistency   (Emma - November, 2012)

    Ordered two naans, Goan fish and mixed vegie curry. While the curries were ok (read: not excellent, ordered hot but could hardly feel it!). THE AMOUNTS given were so little. There were about 12 very very small (around 1.25cm cubed). Even the vegies were hard to find. In any case, it was not enough for two people!! There was enough sauce though.

      We accidentally came here for a business lunch mid-week, we'd booked a table at the very similar sounding Mehrey Da Dhaba across the road!

      Bloody lucky mistake because the food was magnificent. And the atmosphere wasn't too bad for a Wednesday lunch time...

      Our ever-attentive waiter, Gary?, was also very helpful - even sending someone off on a shopping trip to get us some mineral water as they were out of stock.

      Dreadful experience. Encouraged to buy banquet which was clearly poor value. Only one of our party had a main course and has an upset stomach. Entree banquet only was charged at a prohibitive $25 when a main course is advertised at around $15...Serious overcharging and food quality inferior to neighbouring indian restaurants. If you go there make sure you do not order Banquet!!   (May, 2008)
