How your order is processed:

      Maya Tandoori is one of my favourite Indian restaurants in Sydney, the food is excellent especially the Tandoori Chicken Masala, but the service really lets it down. On our most recent visit the mains took over an our to reach our table, the staff don't appear to be very professional, they didn't take our menus away after we ordered, and extra glasses and cutlery were not removed and took up space on the already small table. We had to remove these ourselves and put them on a ledge behind us. A lot of the time the staff were just chatting behind the service counter. It was even hard to get the bill, and in the end we went up to the counter to pay it. In future I think we'll just go to their vegetarian restaurant downstairs, where the service is much better and the food just as tasty.   (Water Lotus - See my reviews (6) - February, 2011)

      The food wasn't the best Indian food I have tried.

      The Lassi was water-down, not the usual thick yoghurt texture at other Indian restaurants.

      Had to wait a long time to get service. When putting my had up to ask for help, one waitress said "will come after i serve this table" but she went on and serve a FEW more tables before coming over. by then, I have already asked someone else for help, must have waited for at least 10 minutes to be served.   (smash13 - See my reviews (14) - June, 2010)

      Came here with 10 friends. Each one of us ordered a different dish and shared. We tried across a broad spectrum from entrees, bread, chicken, seafood, lamb & goat. Bloody amazing! I have been eating curry my whole life and this place certainly exceeded my expectations!   (See my reviews (17) - June, 2010)
