    One of the most pleasurable aspects of Chinese cuisine is the tradition of sharing the dishes with the guests at your table therefore providing you and your guests the opportunity to experience a wide range of mouth watering dishes covering the whole gambit of tastes and aromas.     Whilst we offer a range of banquet menus carefully matching dishes from our extensive classical and innovative Cantonese cuisine, we can tailor a banquet menu to suit individual tastes–blending your personal favorites and special dietary needs if required.       The Me Wah is one of those restaurants that have you salivating at the prospect of dining there. Fine Chinese cuisine with a wine list to boast, we love going to the Me Wah when we have time on our hands. I try something new every time I go there and are always impressed. However the service could be improved as meals have come out quite late before, and it seems the place is over-staffed on quiet nights- we counted 6 waitstaff when there were only 4 tables to serve.       We have dined here several times before and have always loved the food, service and wine list. We had lunch on Saturday for my mother's birthday and again we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We had a banquet which was a taste sensation. The service was excellent.       Definitely one of the best Chinese experiences in Tasmania. Unfortunately Tas is a little lacking in good Chinese restaurants, but I was fairly impressed. Much more authentic than most others.   (Jo - See my reviews (9) - October, 2008)
