    Opened by Michael Popovic since 2002, Mediterraneo has gained a reputation for its foods and services. Mediterraneo’s charcoal grill cooking method enables most of the fat to drip away and provides a delicious, healthy meal with a distinct flavour imparted by the wood smoke. Not only the best ingredients are required but also the chefs’ attention to details is counted on to ensure the food quality and consistency.

    High ceilings, light, rendered stone walls, colourful modernist impressions of a Spanish bullfight and the soft yet complex sounds of the flamenco guitar in the background inspire thoughts of a southern European holiday… The restaurant releases the carefree vibes of the Mediterranean in every way. From the cosy ambience of the bar and restaurant to the Al Fresco style of dining in the courtyard and the exclusive corporate function room upstairs, Mediterraneo is a delightful place to enjoy a meal.

      Very hard to find fault with this restaurant. The food was magnificent. The meal orders taken from our table included fish, lamb, vegetables an steak, all served hot, all perfectly cooked, and all very much enjoyed by my party. I will certainly be returning to Mediterraneo.   (February, 2010)

      the food was ordinary buy highly priced. Table for two can feel a bit cramped.   (Sam - January, 2010)

      Very attentive without being over familiar. Food of excellent quality and not overpriced. Was able to cater for both the adults and children, nothing was too much trouble. As well as a resonable menue, an extensive list of speacials was availiable. Will be going back and recommend.   (See my reviews (2) - November, 2008)

      the food was of a very high standard, but i thought it was a little expensive. i also felt a cramped, from where i was sitting. but very good service from staff.   (August, 2008)
