      Visiting Sydney for the weekend we thought we would stop in at this cosy looking cafe for some brunch. This turned out to be possibly the worst decision we've made in a while... I would've spent my time more wisely lining up at Bill's for a table!! After 1 whole hour and asking 3 times, I received my coffee after which our food (bacon and eggs!) also finally arrived. Food was fine but watching the service team trying to figure out who ordered what plate of food was hilarious and gave us all something to do while we waited. Luckily half of our meals were still hot when they made it to the table. As we finished our meals and after watching tables of people walk out, the owner finally asked what we thought so we told him - his response was to give him a break, it was a Sunday, etc etc. Hot tip to owner: don't open a cafe/restaurant if you don't want diners to walk in the door expecting to be served. Hot tip to diners on Crown St: keep walking and dine somewhere else that doesn't dish out attitude before it's food.

      Possibly the worst service I have ever experienced. I went with a group of 4 for breakfast and we waited an hour for our coffees and even longer for our food. During that time 3 other groups left without their food after waiting an hour for their food and drinks. When the food did arrive my meal was cold and when we tried to bring this to the attention of staff they were very rude. Never again!

      I found the service at this restuarant very poor. We waited a long time to have our order taken, if that wasnt bad enough we then waited a further fortyfive minutes to receive our meals. The food itself was acceptable however certainly nothing special. The restaurant was very crampt, made worse by all females being issued with stools for thier handbags! nice idea but there is not the space and to be frank its hardly the ritz. Toilet facilities are way out the back..leading customers right through the kitchen which is far from hygeinic looking. Overall they are trying too make the place upmarket but still cram people in, it just dosent work. Good luck to the proprieters...they will need it!

      My wife and I had a really enjoyable time. Food was great and service was attentive but not intrusive. Good value for money. We both had entrée’s, mains, sides, wine and water for less than $100.00. I would recommend this no frills, relaxed place to have a good tasting diner. Be careful not to over orders as portions are generous. Thank you.

      Had a reservation for 11 people for dinner. The food took around 90 minutes to be made. I ordered a steak which came well done when I asked for rare. I sent it back and they prepared another steak which again came completely well done. Another member of my group had ordered a meal that never showed up and when we notified them of this it took another half hour for their meal to come. A lot of my group had veal which was excellent and so was the fish. My suggestion would be not to have such a large party as they cannot cope (only one chef and one prep cook). Also, do not order the steak, it is not their specialty. The only other thing that was annoying was how when we came to pay for the meal we wanted them to split it over 3 credit cards (as we were 3 families). They would not split it because they didn't want to incur 3 credit card fee charges. I can understand this minimum charge concept when you must spend more than $10 at a convenience store. However, this was a bill of over $300.

      I love this resto - good food, good ambience, and affordable. Portions are generous and food is delicious. Tonight the waiter was too talkative and it was difficult to understand what he was saying, and he would not stop talking, which makes it difficult to make a decision. I would come back - I like their Barramundi and mango :p
