All food is cooked after it is ordered and meals can be changed to meet specific needs. Prices are inclusive of vegetables, salads etc. Everything is cooked on the premises ("Home made"). Our wine list includes some of Tasmania's best, and many are available by the glass at affordable prices.

      Very, very good. I heartily recommend the grilled pork kassler.

      The host is from the old-school and knows all of the cunning tricks of the trade to provide a hospitable, enjoyable evening out and ensures that food is of the highest standard.   (Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin - See my reviews (6) - March, 2009)

      Terrific. A real gourmet experience. The host, John Adderton, does an excellent job of inviting/luring people in and then explains the menu with patience, in an affable, non-patronising manner. I imagine he is a very tough and exacting task master on his staff but the results are excellent.   (Yasmin - See my reviews (21) - March, 2009)

      Hobart's top restaurant. What can I say? An international dining experience in the middle of the Salamanca precinct. Excellent food and flawless service. Expensive but absolutely worth it.   (Tasmania2009 - See my reviews (98) - February, 2009)

      Have visited Mr. Wooby on two occasions, and enjoyed it both times. Mr Wooby approached the table and gave a full details what each dish consisted of and how it was cooked. Great stuff if you are a little unsure about what t order. On New Years Eve, this is the place to go for value for money around the docks.   (Rod - See my reviews (11) - December, 2008)
