My partner and I go here a lot, trying to get the felling of home as we're so far away from home, but this cosy restaurant feels just that from the minute you walk in the door. We're always greeted by Eileen and the staff are all very friendly. The food is just gorgeous and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good food in a nice and relaxed ambience.   (Lisa O Reilly - July, 2008)

My partner and I go here quiet a bit, trying to get the feeling of home as we're so far away. We just love it here it really feels like home and the staff are so friendly especially Eileen. The service is just great pity it's not like this in every restaurant. The food is just gorgeous. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Lisa   (July, 2008)

Open fire, Irish folk music playing in the background and meat that melts in your mouth - perfect place for a winters night!   (May, 2008)

Hearty meals specially for rainy days, felt lots better from the veg soups and lamb stew. Friendly service.   (See my reviews (4) - April, 2008)

We dine out quite a lot when we went with friends who had been before and entered this cosy little place we felt like we were entering someone house, we were greeted by the staff in a friendly manner, the tablecloths were crisp and white candles glowed from each table we got our menus, the lady of the house came told us the specials in the most authenic Irish Accent, the wine choice was good, the food arrived shortly afterwards I had the mushrooms stuffed with chicken live pate, I really enjoyed them, we asked if we could have a break, between our entree and mains, we could talk without shouting, our mains arrived after a good interval, I had Roast Pork I think it was stuffed , beaufiful dish do try, we had the most lovely evening we were even shown out to the door, by the hostass Eileen, we will be back... excellent little restaurant nestled in the heart of Sydney, a a real find.   (Simon Thompson - October, 2007)

The service is friendly and relaxed; the ambience and decor is a big plus for us who dislike the vast and cavernous barns that distinguish so much of Sydney's restaurant scene. The bread, devine and complimentary started our meal and we shared boxty pancakes for entree which were delicious. Roast pork and Bacon & Cabbage were our mains which came with vegetables and were enough to fill us so we missed out on desserts. We had an extra bonus of a song from a friend of Eileen's who was passing through.Highly recommended for those who would like great food and relaxed atmosphere with real and friendly people and no attitude.   (Kerri - October, 2007)

We are an irish couple who love everything about mulligans. The minute you go in there your mood lifts with Eilleen's cheery banter. the restaurant is always clean and the restrooms spotless. the food is of a very high standard and we think very reasonable as all meals come with mashed potatoes and a medolay of fresh veg, and some of Seans home made bread. Also Sean's sauces are second to none.   (anne mc allister - March, 2007)
