If you have to goto the fish markets, eat / order from another place, there are plenty to choose from.   (Don't Go To Nicks @ The Fish Markets - See my reviews (4) - October, 2010)

Extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service. Walked in there at 1245pm Sunday Aug 15th 2010 to book for dinner for 8 people that night. Was told by the rather rude waitress that someone would call me back to confirm. I asked if this meant I had a booking as I needed to let friends know the time and place. I was promptly and rudely told 'as I said someone will call you later today and let you know if the booking is going to happen.' My booking was for 630pm on Sunday 15th Aug- I am still waiting for my call back.   (megan - See my reviews (4) - August, 2010)

This place is yum! yum! when it comes to seafood.......

Me and my colleague Joseph Hieu Dinh tried the $145 Seafood Platter for 2 an awesome display of fresh cooked lobster, steamed mussels, fried calamari, catch of the day,

king prawns, blue swimmer crab, freshly shucked oysters and avocado with sweet chilli calamari.

Platter for 2? No way! more like for 4! Definitely worth the indulgence and the finer details in presentation makes it all worth while.

Was highly recommended from a friend that Nick's Seafood is the best in Sydney. Well after waiting 30min to get serviced, we got asked to move to another table so that they could cater for another group. The food was average and over priced. I don't see the big attraction   (Paul - See my reviews (4) - September, 2009)

Service was very slow, the cevapcici as part of an entree tasted really awful (and I grew up eating them, so I know how they should taste). The barramundi two of us at my table ordered was not fresh, bordering on off, neither of us ate it after the first bite. It took 30 mins for our mains to come (the fish), but people at other tables that had ordered meat dishes got theirs before we did. Would never eat here again!   (kathy - See my reviews (4) - July, 2008)

The lobster was the best we have ever eaten - perfectly cooked, generous and not too cheesy - really enjoyable.

Taking a 7mth baby proved an issue. The high chair was old and not the safest we've seen in other establishments (please consider the $50 IKEA ones guys!? ) Took two tries to heat up the home-brought baby food - the second, under Mum's supervision. Staff were pleasant and its a great location - we did enjoy our lunch and would go again (depending on beter seating for our child)   (See my reviews (4) - June, 2008)

Found the food to be very very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had the seafood plater for two, found for the amount of seafood on the platter didn't really add up to the amount charged for it. Would go back next time I was in Sydney.   (See my reviews (4) - May, 2008)

Ate there on 25 Apr 08. The low point in my Sydney restaurant experience. Took the waitress 3 tries to get the bar to make my drink (which arrived 20 min after I'd ordered and after I'd finished my salad). The manager apologized and bought my drink. Never saw the waitress again after she deliver my main course-a chicken sandweich of dubious taste which I only ate part of-opting for the french fries which, while not a thrill, were more edible than the former. Twenty minujtes after I'd finished and was hoping dessert might rescue the experience, the maitre d' took pity and asked if I needed anything (since the rest of the staff was ignoring me or nowhere to be found) I asked for a dessert menu which was promptly provided. The maitre d' was never seen again and eventually, having given up on getting dessert, I spotted the manager again, complained and asked for my check. He left in a huff and someone delivered a check to my table. I paid the bill and left no tip. Possibly the most diastrous meal I've had in decaders of traveling. My advice to potential patrons-walk over to the other side of Darling harbor and eat at Jordans.   (May, 2008)

I have dinned here a number of times, but I must say that the last month or so the food & service is going down hill. The food that I recived on the last ocation was not fresh, & the chowder was served cold, Also I observed the resturant manager displining his staff in full veiw of customers, I was a fequent visiter to this restuarnt, But not anymore.   (May, 2008)

Excellent food, excellent service and Cocktails are amazing. Though recently opened, they seemed to be on the right track on the business. Perfect place to experience the different food or you can just have drinks from their take away bar. I will definetely go again when I will go to Sydney.   (March, 2008)
