The chef and staff at Nona's are amazing! My favorite Warrnambool restaurant. They cater exceptionally well for me as a vegetarian, and nut allergies. Jenny who runs the restaurant takes particular care to make the dining experience memorable, she has exceptional knowledge of the menu and tempts you with new flavors and food experiences, topped off with a matching wine. I have only eaten at Nonna's once, and being a chef myself I am always hesitant and fussy when ordering steak when going out, but the meal I was served was by far the best steak I have ever had. The service was great and such a friendly environment.   (Kalina - February, 2009)

I have eaten at Nonna's on various occassions with intimate groups and larger parties and have always had a wonderful time. The chef's food is exceptional and his use of the best ingredients ensures that his food is splendid.

We were dissapointed. Our rissotto was cluggy, the portions were small and the restaurant was noisy even without too many diners. Perhaps we ordered the wrong things. The wine list is overpriced. But the service was very good, did not make up for the rest however.   (janed - November, 2008)

10/10 This restaurant is exceptional. i don't know where to start! Very relaxed atmosphere, food is always tasty, staff helpful and friendly. I have been to Nonna Casalinga 9 nines now and every night has been the same. Just beautiful. Just go there!!!!!!!!!!!!   (August, 2008)

The entire experience at Nonna Casalinga was wonderful. The floor staff were very competent and personable. The food was beautifully presented and proportioned. Definately a restaurant to go back to when next in the area.   (January, 2008)

What can I say........ Gorgonzola and Leek Gnocchi with baby spinach....heaven in a bowl. This place is a little hard to get a table at due to its popularity but without a doubt worth the wait. Amazing food, great service and an awesome wine list. They use the best and freshest ingredients and the serve sizes are definitely generous. Apparently there are a few Melbournians that regularly make the jaunt to Warrnambool to experience the awesome food that they offer.....we will be doing the same.   (Mark Algie - November, 2007)

The food was amazing, i have never had gnocchi like it, just incredible. I was still thinking about it when i woke up the next morning, and the meals are huge! Fantastic wine list too. To Nonna Casalinga management-I enjoyed a lovely meal at your restaurant on Sat night with my wife and another couple and the service provided by Jenny Lee was absolutely 1st class. She is a most efficient and pleasant person and as good at her job as anyone that I have experienced "anywhere" in the world. Exceptional service which made everything even more better. The waitress would be someone we would employ. We didn't have to think and her advice was right on track.
