Noodle Star

Overall 7.8 - Food 9, Ambience 5, Value 8, Service 9

The food is good, soups, noodles and other dishes, (their fried chicken wings w chilli and salt used to be better than they are now, they made a thicker batter for it recently). Ambience is average, it is a takeaway place primarily, though you can sit and they have newspapers etc while you're in there. Value is very good. Service is very good, just make sure you check that you have all your dishes when you pick up as they missed one out one time. Overall, I've been going here for about ten years now, and I can't think of any reason to stop. Very pleased with Noodle Star.   (Anna - See my reviews (2) - August, 2011)

Yes there is, Chinese Whisper on crown Street, but I find their food too...I don't know, I think they are trying to be different but i don't want different. I just want reliable 70s style chinese takeaway food.

Noodle star is okay for cheap and basic. I wish I wasn't too lazy to walk to chinatown.   (hillsbilly - February, 2009)
