Despite loosing our reservation and being ignored by wait staff, Norma corrected the situation and set us up in a lovely spot overlooking the river. Food was absolutely wonderful and we had a very enjoyable Fathers Day lunch. Would visit again.   (September, 2008)

It was my mothers sixtieth and we had two small children with us. We all had a lovely time. The atmosphere was relaxed enough to take children with us but nice enough that we felt it was special. We would definately go there again.   (March, 2008)

Dined at the Cafe on Sunday morning- Lovely wait staff! The young blonde girl was very welcoming, tentative to our needs and always had a smile.   (Sunday Morning - March, 2008)

IWe all enjoyed the restaurant, and will return again. The only thing is better desserts. You can buy whole cakes from wholesale patisarries, which you can cut into individual serves, serve with dairy whip cream and a strawberry on side. Cheers Gail   (See my reviews (2) - November, 2007)

WE CELEBRATED MY HUSBANDS 85TH BIRTHDAY ON 8-9-07 AND WE CANNOT FAULT THE FOOD(FROM THE NORMAL MENU), SERVICE AND AMBIENCE. WE HAD FORTY GUESTS INC EIGHT SMALL CHILDREN WHO ALL HAD A GREAT TIME. REBECCA,THE VENUE MANAGER, STEPHEN, THE CAFE MANAGER, AND VICKY, OUR WAITPERSON WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL, FRIENDLY AND UNOBTRUSIVE. WE RECOMMEND THIS VENUE UNCONDITIONALLY.
