    Delivery was late, so the food was cold, and the order came without the promised rice. Given my wife was unwell and actually only wanted to eat the rice, this was very, very disappointing.   (Patrick - April, 2013)

    The food is usually really good, however the last time we order from Pasha the food was cold, the bread doughy and when it finally arrived, 2:15 minutes after I placed the order (which was 1:15 after the promised delivery time), the restaurant promised my next delivery would be free.     This is my second time ordering and again it was yummo. I ordered early this time as i remembered that it they are pretty slow to deliver, but this time they came 10 minutes early. The eggplant dishes are insanely delicious and the Guvec is the best dish. The kofta were a bit dry but the flavours were good.     Inconsistent - i've ordered 3 times and each time has been quite different, last time I received complimentary turkish delights and my baklava had 3 serves with a honey sauce and persian fairy floss - this time there's only 2 with nothing else. Turkish bread is sometimes flat pita style, other times fluffy Turkish variety. Eggplant salad has a strange roasted yet kind of rotten flavour but the other salads are great.     Pros:

    The food is YUM!

    It can be one of the only healthy menus if you pick properly (eg, meat/salad)

    Cons:

    Takes around 1 hour for food to arrive

    No confirmation, so you just wait until it arrives

    Sometimes they miss things in their order as described by previous reviews

    Food isn't overly hot when it arrives.

    BOTTOM LINE: Hopefully Pashas owners would read these reviews and offer a better service.

    If you are pro-active and order early then speed wouldn't be an issue as its near-guaranteed food would take 50-80 minutes to arrive.   (Karar - June, 2012)

    I would not reccommend food from this establishment. The time for the food to be delivered was over 1 1/2 hours and the restuarant was 2.6kms from its delivery destination. When rung to enquire we were told that the driver had been gone at least 15minutes. Another 10 minutes kater the delivery arrived, not hot at all.   (Sean - May, 2012)

    Overdose on bread and not much of anything else. The chickpea main was a real disappointment. Nothing but chickpeas and water. Definitely not ordering here again. Far too expensive and the food left a lot to be desired.   (Tim - May, 2012)

    The food's not bad at all, but it can't make up for the service. The estimate for arrival was 6.34: food arrived at 7.23. I called 4 times to try to cancel, as time pressure meant that once it was 20 minutes late I wouldn't be able to eat until much later, but there was only an answering machine and no return call. The driver didn't seem to know much about it - or to be particularly interested.

    Then I got ripped off one piece of bread, the rice that I wanted left out was still there, and the shepherd's salad lacked the olives and fetta described on the menu. On the other hand, the "veal" (tasted a lot like lamb) was delicious, the kofte were good, and the cacik was pleasant. Plus the tomatoes were ripe - a rarity in takeaway!

    Overall, the extreme lateness with no explanation, and the failure to return phone calls made it a fairly disappointing experience.   (Kate - March, 2012)

    AMAZING food, best turkish ever and it is a refreshing change from the usual thai, pizza or indian.

    The highlight for me would be the eggplant dip, spinach and fetta pide and the Tavuk Izgara.

    Food was late.

    Chips where insanely overpriced for such a tiny portion and some of them were hard and undercooked.

    Chicken was charred so much you couldn't taste anything else.

    The lamb dish was missing the Turkish bread it was supposed to come with.

    Took an hour and twenty mins to arrive. Got the wrong order. The chicken was charred so badly it overpowered everything else, the lamb was missing the Turkish bread it was supposed to come with and the $10.90 chips was the most pitiful portion I have EVER seen.     Great addition to Menulog for the inner North. The Guvec slow cooked lamb was delicious. Really tender lamb braised with eggplant, tomato, onion and potatoes came with flavoursome rice (cooked in stock?). Mixed dips with warm Turkish bread were excellent too. I'll definitely be ordering again. An excellent alternative to your usual pizza or Indian take away.   (Camille - February, 2012)
