Absolutely love the Peacock - been there countless times for lunch, dinner, or just a couple of beers and a game of pool. Open fire and leather couches inside, great beer garden out the back - perfect for any occasion.

The $10 lunch specials are AMAZING - was expecting some fairly standard pub fare in an entree size but was pleased to find they resemble something more like a main meal.

Great and cheerful staff top off the experience - if you're looking for a laid-back, high-quality feed you really cannot go past the Peacock.   (Cam - March, 2011)

I visit the peacock on a regular basis, and have not got a bad word to say, i have eaten there many times, they serve pub food and the serves are very generous and good value for money. they change their specials every week so always something new to try, and sometimes enjoy a good steak on a tuesday night for $14.I have not experienced a bad meal yet.

The staff are very friendly and and never have a problem with dealing with customers needs.they seem to really enjoy their work which makes the visits even more enjoyable.

one side is a pub but they do have a dining area around the front with table service for those's who do not wish to stand and cue for their food and drinks.

The beer garden is an awesome place to spend a nice afternnon in.

The peacock is fabulous!! The $10.00 meals are fantastic value and the menu changes weekly so you never get bored. I would eat there every day if I could! The staff are very friendly and the service is very prompt. The outside courtyard is a wonderful place to relax and eat as it has a large shade cloth and a number of umbrella's to keep you cool.   (Sandra - March, 2011)

Can't beat the $10 meals for lunch. We frequent the Peacock for our lunch 2 to 3 times a week. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

the renovations make it even more comfortable and the outside area is so good we find it hard to go back to work.

I'm a local to the Northcote area and, no joke, I'm at the Peacock for lunch at least 4 days a week. Why? Simple. Great staff, great food and a nice ambience. There is a rotating weekly $10 lunch menu that keeps things interesting and each item is typically not only in a large serve, but also of exceptional quality. I couldn't recommend lunches/dinners at the Peacock highly enough.   (HighlySpammable - March, 2011)
