    Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. I ordered pork and plum sauce and chicken and oyster sauce, and special fried rice. flavours not nice, mushrooms not fresh, quality not good. delivery was 1/2 hour late which would have been fine if the food was OK but.... if you're reading this perry's, please take this opportunity to improve your quality - or lose customers! sorry for the poor review, i really am very tolerant and wouldn't normally bother to write a review but in this case felt i needed to.   (Meredith - February, 2013)

    silly me! i didnt read the reviews!! never again will i order thro perry's, the took near 2 1/2 hours, the dim sims were extremely soggy n the food was cold by the time it reached me, n bland. the driver was VERY RUDE and didnt even apologise for getting lost, even after i called 3 times in total, getting told 'it will be there in 10mins' every time. Was very saddened by this as it was my first time using menulog. Chinese food is my absolute favourite, but never EVER again will i go to or recommend perry's. in fact, i strongly ADVISE AGAINST ordering from here!!!!   (See my reviews (2) - September, 2012)

    I noticed mixed reviews from previous reviewers. Not sure I would have ordered if I noticed them before, but everything turned out fine for me.     Made the mistake of not reading the reviews! Ordered at 4 for delivery at 5, Food still isn't here after 45 mins and I have called numerous times without any offer of compensation which is what you would expect. Very hungry and very annoyed!     Terrible service. I would urge people not to order from this restaurant. In addition to arriving over an hour late (after i had to call them to remind them), they arrived without my $4.50 drink i purchased. No reason, no "we'll fix this", but the delivery man just stared at me blankly. Obviously he had no idea so i let him go but i'd never order from them again. Save your money and order in Thai instead.   (blake - August, 2012)

    The delivery and freshness of the food was evident however it lacked flavour. In my 20 odd years of eating asian food (amongst many others) i have never, ever, tasted something so bland and meaningless. i will never order from there again.   (Joel - See my reviews (4) - July, 2012)

    Food arrived ahead of time and was hot - which is pretty good considering that the run was from Lilyfiled to Chippendale. Also, the portions are very generous. On the downside, the food (especially the fried rice) is fairly uninspired i.e. needs more flavour.   (Michael - See my reviews (9) - July, 2012)

    Food was below average compared to other Chinese restaurants I have been to. Fried rice was dry. Shallot pancake was thick and undercooked. A bit pricey for the quality of food. Delivery was 15 minutes early from the estimated time. Before ordering, I made an instruction to send some chili oil and prepare change for $50, but it was not acknowledged. Got free prawn crackers though. Thank you but I might not order again. Sorry.   (Sheila - June, 2012)

    Good food, large portions and very reasonable prices. The large fired rice dishes are excellent value, as was the prawn toast.     My confirmation message told me the food would be 40 minutes, it has now been 2 hours and I still have not received my food. I have called twice now and all they keep saying is 'soon'! Very disappointing, you can not run a business that runs on dishonesty.   (Emma - June, 2012)

    Just ordered from here for the first time, the food arrived earlier than estimated and was nice and hot. The food was cheap, delicious and generously portioned. I especially liked the mixed entree, whose contents seemed twice the size of what you would usually get ordering chinese/thai. My only complaint is that the fried rice was a little bland, but that seems to be the norm with fried rice and a few sauces solved my problem.

    Really unimpressed with this place. We called when it was 20 mins late and the guy on the phone told us "traffic is bad". It was 9.38pm on a Tuesday and the restaurant is less than 2km from our place. Then when the order finally arrived, one of our dishes was wrong. We received lemon chicken, when it was meant to be garlic prawns. We called the driver and said the order was wrong, his response was "How come?". How does someone answer that question? Then we called the restaurant who then went over our order and told us that it was a mistake and they'd bring us the garlic prawns, but during the conversation he kept confusing himself, saying "So you did or didn't order the lemon chicken?"... REALLY? Then 15 mins later we got a call from the driver who said "You ordered lemon chicken, right?"... WHAT? No. No, we didn't. When I said "I have told you guys this 4 times, now", he said "Okay! OKAY!" and hung up on me. It's an hour later at 10.49pm and the garlic prawns have just been delivered. Horrible experience and stress-filled dinner.
