      Had Lunch here last week, big mistake! We were a party of 4, had to wait long time for entree's and than the cardinal sin was committed when two entree's were delivered followed 10 minutes later by the other 2, not good when you expect to dine together. It than took 50 minutes and a polite request that we be served the mains, these arrive about 5 minutes later with attitude and no apology from the waitress. After we had finished the main course we wait another 30 minutes with the dirty plates in front of us before I was able to attract attention to ask for the bill and put an end to a miserable lunch. The table was half cleared of dirty dishes but the rest remained in front of us until the bill was placed in front of me. Needless to say no tip was left, we will never return and we will spread the word to stay clear. By the way the food was OK but not great. This restaurant has been around for many years and I have enjoyed many a great meal here but when did the owners start taking their customers for granted?

      We have been eating at Petars for many years. The service is excellent as well as the food. Our overseas visitors always want to go back to Petars when they are in Australia. We have eaten at other seafood restaurants in Australia & other places around the world & this is one of the best.

      After reading the past reviews, I was quite nervous about taking a large group there. I was pleasantly surprised, with excellent service and the food was great. The seafood was fresh (not frozen as in previous reviews) I would certainly recommend this restaurant

      We felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff. They were unhelpful & the food was not as expected. Fish had a frozen watery taste & was very bland. They had run out of items on the menu even though we were there early in the night. I will not be recommending them to anyone.

      This would have to be the worst experience i have had at restaurant for a very long time.Waitress was not helpful and food was recooked frozen, not fresh and would never go back or recommend to anyone.

      The worst food and service i have had a long time. The seafood was frozen not fresh, attitude of waiter was very unhelpful could not ablige with any requests, not even a simple change to menu such as no chips just salad. I would not advise anyone to waste their money or time in this place.

      Food was good/'very good. Service was excellent. However the night was spoilt by the upstairs seating, it was extremely hot, several degrees hotter than downstairs. I found I had to go outside a lot more than what I normally would for a cigarette. As much as I'd hate to say it we would not come back again purely because of how hot it was unless we were advised the air conditioning was fixed.
