    With fresh faces, impeccable service staff and delectable new menus, it’s time to visit the Pines Restaurant! We are introducing a new A La Carte menu, which includes some fantastic recipes on the grill. Our A La Carte menu can be coupled with a chilled salad, seafood and dessert buffet. The new A La Carte menu is available for Dinner, Sunday to Thursday, and Lunch, Monday to Friday. The additional salad, seafood and dessert buffet is available Sunday – Thursday for Dinner.

    But don’t stress - if it’s our mouthwatering Seafood buffet you’re after, this is available for dinner on Friday and Saturday, and we have a full buffet for Lunch on Saturday and Sunday.

      We stayed at the Rendezvous, Scarborough Beach between the 12th May 2009 until the 23rd May 2009 and were impressed by the quality of the food, the personal attention we received from the staff and the friendliness overall of everyone at The Dome. We would highly recommend, even if you do not stay at The Rendezvous to give The Dome a try and enjoy the excellent food and superb friendly atmosphere and helpfulness of the staff.   (2009 Holiday - See my reviews (3) - May, 2009)

      Good location, nice views. I have never been to a restaurant where the food has been so uninspiring and tasteless. The salad bar was barely fresh and there were flies landing on the seafood. The selection of "gourtmet meats" included sliced up ham. Dessert Bar was really shameful considering it was a supposed fine dining experience with choices including red jelly and a cake selection that looked like it had been bought from the local Coles Supermarket. Extremely disappointed. Staff were polite and quck to remove empty plates. The restaurant looked like it was in need of redecorating with parts of the ceiling discoloured and falling down. Decor just looked old and tired. For such a great location and part of a five star hotel complex I really expected a lot more. I would suggest a visit to Sizzler if you want value for money, freshness and more variety.   (LH - See my reviews (3) - February, 2008)
