  Had lunch at Razz long weekend October 2011. Best meal I've had for such a long time. Congratulations to your chef. Sorry, Taree is just too far away to return more often, I will return.

  We had the degustation for our wedding anniversary. Every course was fabulous! The attention to detail made each dish not only taste, but look delicious. Also, the unusual combination of tastes complimented each other perfectly. We've eaten there quite often, but last night was by far the best. And apart from having to wait for our complimentary glass of champagne (which took longer to arrive than one would expect) the service was fantastic.   we went there for fathers day lunch.there was a special fathers day menu $69.00.so reasonable pricey,however the food was nice.but unfortunately there was only 2 people on the floor resulting in a long wait between courses,i had to ask if they had forgotten our dessert.3 hours for lunch was to long.we have been there before and the service was great.will give them one more go,maybe they were just having a bad day.it happens.   (nuidat1969 - September, 2010)

  We had my husbands surprise 40th at Razz with 24 guests, found all aspects of the restaurant were fantastic. Service was magnificent, all the guests were very impressed with the menu choices and the quality of the food. Most of these guests live in the North Shore and inner Sydney and are real foodies.   We went for a birthday dinner for my dad and chose Razz for something a bit more special than a local thai or indian. I was disappointed with my pork belly as it was pretty average - more like a deboned pork chop and we waited 20 minutes for the dessert menu we asked for so decided to give it a miss in the end. i went to pay the bill and then they had added an extra bottle of wine we hadn't asked for. disappointing for the price and the expectation.   (March, 2009)

  I think $10 a bottle corkage is a bit steep. Most good Sydney restaurants don't charge that much. Razz advertises as being licenced and BYO but they certainly discourage you from bringing your own. Ours was a special occasion and the wine we brought had a special significance (we told them this). It would have been a nice gesture (and good PR) for them to have either waived the corkage or reduced it.   (November, 2008)

  We arrived on a busy night all tables were being utilised the staff were friendly competent and efficient given the workload they were dealing with. The meal was excellent what more could one want.   (July, 2008)

  A totally overpirced restaurant offering ordinary food at exhorbitant prices. Staff totaly bored with job and when we queried the time taken to serve food, were told "Oh, did you order lamb? That takes a little longer". Surely we should have been advised that we would wait 30 minutes for our meals. And when the lamb arrived it was so ordinary! City prices and unprofessional staff.   (March, 2008)

  Great night out, food was outstanding, loved the oyster trio plate. The staff are happy to adapt your meal for dietry reasons. Mains were very nice too.   I have been to this restaraunt a few times now with my girlfriends, its been excellent, great attmoshpere, children friendly, they always accomadate foir the two prams and the food is great, and very good value for money, we love the meal and dessert for $20. Its great. We will keep coming back. Its our favourite place to eat!   (Happy girls - November, 2007)
