      Evening started with wait staff telling guests what we should order to make it easy on the Kitchen staff, followed by a very slow wine service. After spending over $400 + a good tip, the management took issue over a $2. surcharge (yes I did say $2.) Over rated, over priced with an arrogant management attitude.   (stars - June, 2008)

      After eating in this restaurant I am surprised that it has a chef's hat from the SMH. The food was quite good and the concept is really interesting but quite messy in execution. My partner wanted to get an entree and a main and I wanted to do a degustation and it seemed like it was a bit too difficult to sort out the timing and delivery of the dishes. I wound up having three dishes come out at once rather than having 4 evenly spaced tasters. As well, there was an EXTREMELY long wait between our first taster course (which the waitress recommended so that my partner and I Could eat at the same time) and the second course which was frustrating. My partner's beef was cold- and as he remarked during the meal, not worth $60. I had requested wine with my final course but they brought the food long before the wine so I wound up sitting there waiting to eat my lamb cutlet with the glass of wine I had ordered. We were so frustrated that we skipped dessert. It's a great concept but if you're going to go, make sure that you agree ahead of time on the number of courses and size of the plates you'll have- it did our heads in trying to figure it out with the waitress on the night!   (See my reviews (9) - May, 2008)

      This is a great restaurant. The menu is very original. We loved the way you can 'pick 'n choose' different size plates. The setting is beautiful between de vineyards. Definitely a very special place to come back to.   (Heleen Molenaar - February, 2008)
