  • Authentic Thai cuisine prepared by Tuan. Trained in Bangkok but worked at the leading Thai restauramt in Perth before opening Royal Thai with husband, David in December 1997.

    Family atmosphere ensures a perfect evening whether it be a romantic dinner for two or a birthday or business party of 50 or more.

    uncomfortable atmosphere, place has a very old feel to it. Old chairs & tables Food was like eating yesterdays left overs. Would never go back there.

      I have eaten at this restaurant many times, and I go back there because it is the best thai food I have ever eaten - Including supposedly Gold Plate winners! The service is prompt friendly and I love it, and I take every interstate visitor there.   (Jo - April, 2010)

      Restaurant response - Gee Anthonyc sorry you had such a bad night. I cant understand why you did not enjoy the food. Its been 11 years now and our regular customers are still full of praise.

      Anyway would love you to come back and try us again and take advantage of our free bottle of wine.

      Yes, you are correct about the old building and furniture.

      We must think about upgrading a bit next year.

      I have been going here for years with my partner. We have grown very fond of the place, its food and David the Manager!!! Love the food like crazy!!! Dining in the first time it was a bit quiet and fairly sterile, second time around was recent and the atmosphere and ambience was great!! So nice during winter with a pot belly fireplace in the open area. Very loud table behind us but it was a birthday of 20 ppl so fair enough. Over all: You guys have got to go there!       Waitress was very sweet and made great recommendation! My main was delicious (mild sweet beef curry). Bit quiet but was only a Tuesday night. Staff were very helpful and non-imposing.   (July, 2008)

      This has become my regular place for eating out on a student budget. Food is sensational, especially the Massaman and sweet green curries - DELICIOUS! And, if a student can afford it, it must be well-priced!   (July, 2008)

      The Choo Chee (Prawns in red curry) had an absolutely irresistable sauce, my partner couldn't stop eating it even after he was full! The chicken in red wine, gralic and corriander was very tasty and a lovely spicyness and a unique dish for Thai fanatics like us! My mouth is watering just writing about it! Yum!   (February, 2008)
