      I attended an engagement party this evening at Rubyos. We ate from Banquet No. #1, that had 8 completely different courses including an antipasto plate, ALL of the food was gorgeous in both the look and taste, the thing that really set this place apart, was the service, it was "for lack of a better word" PERFECT. This place has the type of service you expect in a five star, but with the homely feel.   (Nick - See my reviews (2) - November, 2011)

      From the moment you are welcomed at the door to the unique selection of aperitifs and great variety and quality of food, Rubyos is a winning mixture. The best bit is the grazing plate concept where you order 2-4 dishes between two and share the experience with your friends. The service is relaxed but attentive to your needs.       A fresh idea , great menu and a great way to dine, topped with good service particularly when you are looked after by the owner. Some of the other floor staff can be a little patchy but overall not much to complain about, I can see this being a regular haunt.   (philbee - See my reviews (2) - August, 2007)
