The foof was averagely good but nothing special with reasonable selection of wine and sake. The service was the worst of all. Upon arrival, no greeting came from anyone, while the restaurant had 3 groups only. When I misunderstood the menu, the waitress became really snappy at me. I ended up telling her that I had enough of her shouting and she could stop doing it. I have never had such an experience in a restaurant. It was my second visit to there. For the first visit, a waitress took a plate away while we were still dining. I did not say anything as I was a guest to my friends. Considering the quality of their service, I won't like to go back there. I felt I paid money to be shouted at. Sad to see such a style of service is found in a Japanese restaurant.   (kiko - May, 2012)

I have been there so many times and it never disappoints. I always rave about it and when I take people there, they understand why. Service is fabulous, the food is delectable and I think it would have to be one of the best places in Perth.   (Gabriela - April, 2009)

I have dined at Sado Island, Claremont, several times and each time there has been consistency across the board any day of the week, plus you can book in groups or small numbers and the option of BYO is available.   (Very good! - September, 2007)
