      This is my favourite coffee shop and has been so for the past few years. I am a student at Sydney Uni, and often retreat to the sanctuary of Sapphos courtyard to have a coffee or bite to eat while studying - the soy latte is PERFECT each and every time, as is my favourite meal of a falafel roll - both at a decent price and actually cheaper/tastier/better value than uni outlets. I get everything i need at sapphos - a walk from and back to campus to stretch my legs, excellent coffee and lunch as a pick me up, and perfect study space among the trees and graffiti walls, with great music in the background. Cant speak highly enough!   (sapphos has it all for this uni student - February, 2012)

      The cafe has an unparalleled ambience, from its gentle merging of the shelves of books with its cafe tables to the graffiti art that has been retained in the charming garden. Throw in what might be the best coffee in Glebe and Sunday morning Jazz, Sappho is my number one choice for weekend hangouts - and I'm not certainly not alone in thinking so. The cafe is frequented by students, writers and poets, musicians and trendy people from the area, all of whom are committed regulars!   (Steven HK Ma - April, 2009)
