................................ABOUT SEA LA VIE RESTAURANT................................

Sea la vie is a stylish casual restaurant overlooking the stunning Dee Why Beach. We combine three essential ingedients - stylish comfortable atmosphere; with friendly local service; and menus that provide good, wholesome food, which includes only the freshest Australian produce.

Boasting the largest outdoor seating area on Dee Why Beach, Sea la vie is the perfect place to sit while sipping one of our specialty cocktails, enjoying a Seafood taster plate or indulging on one of our signature dishes, the Tasmanian salmon fillet or the moutherwatering 300g grain fed scotch fillet.

We are one of a few restaurants on the Northern Beaches who are finalists in the 2008 The Sunday Telegraph Metropolitan Awards for Excellence.

We encourage you to make your reservation now and treat yourself to a meal at one of the best restaurants on the Northern Beaches.

Sea la vie - you're always welcome!

A very enjoyable experience, the food was excellent the best seafood marinara I have ever had. The only suggestion for the restaurant would be to put couple tables away from the large group tables as it was a little noisy but apart from that the service was fantastic.   (September, 2008)

A great night out. Great food and service (friendly and warm). Furthermore, you can hear each other talking, you don't have to yell. Well done, Sea la vie. Highly Recommended.   (Happy - June, 2008)

Overall 7.8 - Food 9, Ambience 7, Value 7, Service 8

The food was very good, with quite large portions. Definite value for money. It wasn't as full as I expected it to be on a Friday night, but I suspect this is because of it's location - it doesn't directly face the beach. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Overall a pleasant place to eat.   (Sea la Vie - May, 2008)

Great venue and great food. Friendly service. Our guests were as pleased as we were. We will be going back for sure.

"The menu is not complicated and has a selection of generous-sized meals for both kids and adults. With a nut-like aroma hinting to spicy tones, the espresso had an authentic sincerity and did not disguise itself to be something, it wasn't."

Salvatore Lannuzzi & Mark Scandurra, The Coffee Guide...Sydney 2007 - October 2006
"Fixed to the wall just above us was one hi-fi speaker that serenaded us throughout the afternoon with easy listening music. Just like the music, the mood was also easy...More of a restaurant than a cafe, you can just relax at one of the outdoor tables...Staff were helpful and well presented, and our food was served promptly."

Mark Scandurra & Salvatore Iannuzzi, The Coffee Guide Sydney - January 2006
