About Silom Thai - Prahran

Silom Thai Chapel Street is one of the newest restaurants on Chapel Street and the only Thai restaurant on Chapel Street, South Yarra.

We are open for lunch and dinner seven days a week situated in the heart of Chapel Street. The restaurant has a warm ambience and the staff are friendly and will make your stay an enjoyable one.

Silom Thai is close to all the amenities in the area so you can come in after you have been shopping or before going out to the movies or clubs.

Both food quality and value were adequate, but the time between order and delivery was extremely poor. One hour and 15 minutes!! (Paul - April, 2013)

One of the worst delivery experiences to date.
We have ordered from Silom Thai twice.
The first time they took over an hour to deliver our food. On top of this, they had completely failed to give us the right dishes.
Our second experience (this evening) was even worse with delivery taking nearly two hours. After waiting for eternity, we received a call from the delivery person, who could neither speak nor understand english. He was completely incapable of following the simple directions to our apartment that we provided on menulog. After wasting 15 minutes of our time trying to explain directions, we ended up having to leave our apartment and walk around Chapel street looking for him.
Hardly the definition of home delivery...
On top of this, food was completely cold / soggy.

Arrived speedily. Ordered steam veges and satay sauce * 2 one with tofu. Arrived with one "plain" veges with no sauce at all and one with satay sauce but no tofu. When I rung up got told that the radio buttons which gives you the choice of plain or tofu actually means tofu - add satay with no tofu, or plain means steamed veges with nothing. worst possible service, never ordering again.
