Simply awesome food!! I cant put it in words as to how good there dishes are. Its very rare to find a restaurant that does genuine north and south indian cuisines. The Lamb devil and Mango chicken is probably the best indian combination you can have. Highly recommend these guys, They are the best Indian by a huge margin. Service was excellent - very attentive and they prepared a special vegetarian meal for us. I recommend the Southern Indian menu as the banana leaf presentation is a very tasty novelty.

What a gem! Have been there twice now - the food is excellent, and the portions are vast. The flavours are wonderful. Unlike many Indian restaurants, where the food tends to be hot and have no flavour, Spicy South makes you want to come back for more!

It was very surprising to find the banana leaf option. Generally the food was good but most of the accompanying dishes were cold by the time we were served. If you're looking for real spice, then this is the place to go! For once, spicy means spicy!   (April, 2009)

Albeit the decor is very simple and clean, this restaurant experience was delightful. The food was delightful and tasty (I am Indian and very picky about my food). The service impeccable. It is reasonably priced too. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend to others. It is BYO too!!   (See my reviews (3) - June, 2008)
