The best and most authentic Indian restaurant I have eaten in Melbourne.! I know where to send my friends and will definitely be back. Unlike your normal Indian food that tastes the same no matter what you order,SR Namasthe's food was unique and individual. Worth visiting many times over!

We have had such a good experience in the past using this service but tonight the food was ordinary, little in quantity, cold and now just a few hours later my stomach is very painful. Am very upset that over $50 on takeaway was spent to get poor quality, untasty food that has me feeling quite sick. Would really like a refund!

Very good selection of South Indian food and the provided options are all very good (South Indian wise). North Indian curries are slightly more oily but the taste of the South Indian dishes more than compensate for that. Definitely ordering again.

The slowest service i have ever experienced anywhere! The food is good - but apparently it takes 50 mins to get across the city - on a public holiday... when the roads are completely clear! One of their drivers witnesses accidents every other week... that's the reason they are so late all the time. Never ordering from there again!

My boyfriend and I LOVE Indian food, so the variety and option for foods we hadn't tried before was very enticing. In the end I decided with my usual Tadka Dal though, and my boyfriend chose the Aloo Capsicum. We both shared the saffron rice, which was amazing..wasn't just the usual saffron colouring that's used at many Indian restaurants. Although my Tadka Dal was nice, I probably wouldn't choose it again next time, it lacked the taste of more traditional versions I'd tried, and seemed too thick..almost 'potatoey'. On the other hand, my boyfriend claimed that his Aloo Capsicum was "the best curry I've ever had" and said that he'd return to Namaste just for this curry..I'll definitely be trying it next time! The Sambar Idly was awesome, like nothing else I'd tried before. Unfortunately my boyfriend didn't like the Potato Bonda but he did enjoy the Vegetable Samosa. He also wasn't too keen on the Aloo 65, although I think that may have just been him as I thought it was delicious! All in all, our meal seemed to have been too 'fickle', some was good..some not so good. Will probably return again to try some of the other dishes which aren't typical of most Indian restaurants though.

Excellent experience. Food was perfectly cooked - not too oily, quality ingredients (meats included) and extremely tasty. Delivery was speedy, with service both friendly and thoughtful. As another reviewer mentioned, safe to order adventurously if one has only experienced stock standard westernized Indian cuisine. Highly recommended. *Only draw back is the minimum order is rather high at $50, we have enough food for the next 3 days! Otherwise, no complaints.

This is our third order and we are not disappointed. I think that Namaste has become a new tradition for us. The food is awesome and the price very reasonable. The best part about this restaurant is that you can try dishes beyond the standard korma or vindaloo and know that you won't be disappointed.

Delicious curries and breads. The fried rice varieties are wholesome and filling. Friendly service, however due to popularity it would be wise to order as early as possible in order to avoid delivery delays.

This is the second time we have ordered from Namaste and the food was as fantastic as the first time. We tried a few new dishes and a few favorites from last time. They were all excellent. My friends and I have agreed that if we want Indian then we won't order from anywhere else. Their Indo-Chinese selection is hard to beat too.
