Well known for their oh so tender pork ribs, succulent steaks and in house products which include straight from the paddock to plate Black Asian water Buffalo and Dexter cattle, Grandmas Ginger Beer (non alcoholic) or jessy jame pale ale from the Ironbark Brewery, or even a Lazy poet or Kitty Crawford Estate Wine, the selections are endless.       I have been looking for real American Ribs for decades, and finally I have found them in Australia!!! ...and they are Gluten Free!! Awesome ribs, awesome service. Unfortunately I do not live in Toowoomba but I will be telling everyone I meet about SSS Toowoomba, including the Coeliac Society!   (GlutenFreeTraveller - December, 2010)

      This is my favourite restaurant in Toowoomba!! I have been coming here for the last three years at least once a month. Last saturday night we decided to on the spur of the moment go there for dinner, unfortunately we arrived in peak hour service, without a booking.. However, although we waited a short time in the bar for a table they were very accomodating and still provided us with the best meals ever. Thank you SSS for always providing us with quality service and meals.   (Food Guru Girl - August, 2010)

      We made a tentative booking on line and were told someone would get back to us via sms or email to confirm our reservations. No-one could be bothered getting back to us so I presume that our patronage is not welcome at SSS Barns Toowoomba or they have so many customers that our money wasn't good enough for them. All in all, no-one contacted us so we made alternative plans to dine somewhere else. Service and customer relations is very very poor here so I can only presume that the rest of the experience would be more of the same. Why bother offering "on-line booking service" if you are just going to ignore it anyway. Plenty of other venues value their customers and want the business so SSS don't have the monopoly on Toowomba dining experences. We are not happy customers of SSS and would not reccomend this as a dining experience to our friends.   (May, 2010)

      Not what you would expect from a place that charges high prices, average food, not very tasty, overall a mediocre experience   (happy eater - April, 2010)

      First time at SSS went for the ribs average at best ,

      meals were tiny I do not think it was good value for money the best thing about the evening was the popcorn, complimentary salad with meal so small why bother.

      We had cheese fries where was the cheese.   (SSS Toowoomba - April, 2010)
