  Wow. Could not have been worse. Save your money for McDonalds. The meat would have been better and the 30 seconds of service would be more then you'll get from this place. Truely horrible.   (darby2012 - December, 2012)

  The fact they call themselves a steakhouse is desturbing. I dont know what rat they cut our fillet from but it wasnt steak. Please dont make the same mistake I did and eat here.   (Bad choice - May, 2010)

  I have enjoyed Bovine dining throughout Sydney for a long time now & was looking forward to extending this with dinner @ Kingsleys Steakhouse Lime Street. I have to admit it was a mixed bag..... When we eventually tore ourselves away from the seriously breath taking Dusk vista of Darling Harbour & Pyrmont, My wife & I started with the Entree plate to share. The Pate was tangy & smooth, the seared Scallops were well cooked firm and mildly salty but the standout was the Flash Fried Calamari. Truly delicious. Salty & zingy on the tongue with that lovely creamy texture & after taste of a sensationally prepared denizen of the deep.

  However it was steaks we were here for....My wife’s Petite Fillet (ordered medium rare) was a touch more bloody than anticipated whilst my Darling Downs 70 Day Grain Fed T-Bone(ordered medium rare) was a touch more grey than I had anticipated. And the knives! If you are going to eat steak you want a knife that glides through the beast. It sounds picky but those Tramontina Knives used would not be out of place in a DanOz Direct Outlet or the Bistro down @ the Bowlo. They just tore at the flesh....you kind of expected a bit better. And the sides, were uninspiring but adequate and didn’t really lift the meal. Dessert - like most desserts now - was a cliché and not as satisfying as a cool, crisp gelato can be after a heavy steak meal...The wine list was well matched with the food - the 2003 Hunter Shiraz was sublime. And the staff were excellent - helpful, attentive and pleasant. No mean feat given that the Work Christmas Party Phenomenon was in full swing throughout the place. Kingsleys Steakhouse Lime Street promised a lot & delivered a bit. The views & Entree were really great but you are here for a Steak….If it’s a Steak, a truly sensational Steak you want...go to Daniel's.   (Raunch Icon - See my reviews (7) - December, 2007)

  Great service, as expected. Waiter recommended Riverina Grass Fed Beef if going for medium-rare, and it actually came out medium-rare. However, can't say it was the same for my friend, as it was more medium-well done than medium-rare. Final bill for 17 ppl, worked out to be around $71 p.p.
