We sat down at about 10am and waited for 5 minutes until a waitress came across and asked us if we wanted some menus.

Ordered at 10:15 and watched as others around us get their meals an at incredibly slow rate. I'm usually patient, but by 11:00 I'm thinking that Eggs Benedict and Italian Toast, shouldn't take 45 minutes.

Finally the waitress comes across and states that our order was "lost", but then says nothing more, waiting for my reaction. No sorry. Just blank stare.

I gave, up walked inside to pay for the OJ & my partners Coffee and tell whom I can only deduce was the "manager" (and I'm using that term only vaguely), that their service was pathetic. This was met with a stupid look and "Oh, you're not joking." Seriously, if you're not going to feed me and screw up at least reject my offer to pay for drinks. Payment accepted, but getting the change back was another issue due to more "stupid look".

"FABULOUS" in every way and manner.....

The food was just as good as those fancy restaurants in the city but only half the price. We were personally greeted by the chef/owner his recommendations exceeded his reputation.

Horrible!!

Ambience terrible, service terrible (waitress was absolutely clueless), Spuntini platter was OK, lamb cutlet special was nice, tuna special was awful - who crumbs tuna and cooks it to an unreconisable state??? We had a very enjoyable evening with our interstate guests - much less expensive than we expected for Lygon Street. The meals were generous sizes (except the smallish lobster in hand made pasta - which suited me, but would have been not nearly enough for my husband). We had a great night. The food was fantastic. The Service was good. The prices where great. We had 13 people and all the meals came out together. We all enjoyed our meals. Not one plate had anything left on it. The Spuntini Platters we had for entrees where amazing. Great selection. It was a casual resturant with a great feel. Great for the birthday occusion. Very relaxed. The staff where very nice and where more then happy to help. They even did a split bill for 13 people! I did feel for the young lady trying to work it all out. She did a great job. For a small cafe/resteraunt Stuzzichino was excellent.

The food was great and beinng a student it was easy to afford.

The staff were all very attentive and helpfull

and our food came out quickly.

The pasta i had was great and so was everybody elses
