    Subsolo is the ideal venue for your pre-theatre dinner located in the immediate vicinity of the Theatre Royal.

    Take a morning or lunch break at the Subsolo Café-Deli. Choose from a quick and easy selection of Spanish bocadillo deli rolls, gourmet Subsolo sandwiches and Sydney’s best coffee in our comfy communal Tapas Bar.

      We ordered four plates of tapas & two cocktails, and the two of us were in & out in 40 minutes well-fed & still cooing over what was just enjoyed. Watching other nibblers, I can vouch that if you want to show off try the roasted skewers - the meal & the presentation is an eye-popper. Downside - venue is pretty loud when it's bustling (and it seems it usually is), and skip the chorizos with Spanish onions. Will certainly be back, though.   (LordEccles - August, 2009)

      Very enjoyable experience overall at a very unique restaurant. The varied menu will suite all tastes, although tapas and entrees are overpriced when compared to similar establishments.   (Excellent Dinning Experience although... - June, 2009)
