I waited 3 hours for my food. Was very disappointed. I made the order at 6:03 and waited until 9pm then decided to buy something else after cancelling the order. It was the worst experience that I have had. It took 2 plus hours to deliver from Newtown to Marrickville and the order was wrong. This was the last time that I ever order from them. I would rather starve. (Micheal - February, 2012)

I used to eat at the upstairs restaurant on King St and the food was great. I have been ordering take away from them for quite a while now. Unfortunately every time I order from them the food gets worse. The last meals I ordered did not even taste like curry, it was simply bad quality meat boiled in a salty gravy. Took an hour and a half to get here (less than 5 k's away). food was cold and made me sick all weekend, typical business wanting to cut corners to maximise profit. Arrived faster than expected and the choice of serving sizes is appreciated.
However, the vegetarian dishes were quite oily and rather bland. Rich spices and not copious oil make for authentic South Asian cuisine.
The $35 minimum order would make sense if there wasn't a $3 delivery fee on top of it. (Yasiru - See my reviews (9) - September, 2011)

These guys are the bomb, seriously. I have loved their food ever since I first ate there, and it's just great that delivery is now an option (never any parking near their restaurant)
Occasionally the curries are a little oily, but that's the way they cook it. I'd complain about it anywhere but here.
