Ok Tamarinds has a NEW MENU. This time around they have included a taster and it is pretty good. We had it the first night out and were the first cabs off the rank so it was a little unsettled but it was still fab. The wines to match are very good I would suggest the Innocent Bystander to everyone. The service as per usual is top notch, Vicki we love you. One thing thou is that some of the other staff have not yet tasted some of the new items, this will come in time I am sure.

The old favs are still there, the whole fried barra and the pock belly but the new stuff rocks.

Cannot praise the cocktails more they are stunning, fresh flavours, great presentation and they are not stingy on the alc which is always a sticking point when cocktails are so expensive these days.

Also went to the wine tasting the other night which had a preview of the new menu, may I suggest that all foodies try this out. To have events emailed to you get onto the tamarinds web site and onto the email list.

They are also about the start cocktails on the terrace thrusday, friday and sat after 5pm, I will see you all there.

Most def one of if not the best rest in Cairns. You will need to book in advance for a friday or sat night, you leave a message in the day time and they will get back to you.

For groups they have a lovely area at the side and it is lovely.

The menu is great although the addition of a tasting menu would be great. Cocktail are addictive, especially the Tamarini... Yum

The staff are fantastic and the ambience is sophisticated. Always a place to take my best friends for a lovely night.

Compared to other rest in Cairns and considering the quality of the food the price is great.
