The Tandoori Place has the north Indian style where flavour rather than heat, along with a combination of many spices, is the distinguishing feature. The style remains constant in all the five Tandoori Place restaurants. Blindfolded and judged purely on taste, you could be enjoying a meal in any one of them.Tandoori Place gives great importance in providing a courteous service to the customers. All the staff is specially trained to give customers a great assistance. Whether its choosing a dish or knowing more about Indian tradition, the waiting staff is always there for help.

How your order is processed:

  1. Your order is transmitted to this restaurant the instant you submit your order,
  2. The restaurant confirms your order and advises us of the current delivery estimate,

    Took a little over the expected time to receive the delivery. I requested for my order to be very spicy however there was no hint of spice. I would say it was mild. Naan was oily and biryani was bland. Overall was very average. I was disappointed with delivery time considering I live in the same suburb as the restaurant. I have received orders from restaurants in Main Beach and Surfers in half the time.

    Tonight's meal was delicious; butter chicken, really tender lamb rogan josh and vegetable biriani. I am writing this because we also ordered last week and were disappointed with the unnecessary overuse of artificial colourings in the mint sauce and onion bhajias (which is why we didn't order them this time). We were actually going to switch to another Indian restaurant because of this, but they were closed so we gave you another chance, and we are happy that we did - but please, stop using artificial ingredients.

    the food is good but not wroth the price. it takes forever to deliver, sometimes hour or more and i only live 10 minutes away. if they lowered there prices and increased the efficiency of service would be better.

    quite disappointed as i have eaten in the restaurant and it was good. after waiting the expected time - 1 hour, they called to say that it was going to be another 30 mins. The vegetable dish was completely inedible - dripping in oil and no taste, just hot. butter chicken was average, definitely not the best I've had. I should have saved my $50 and cooked it all myself.

    We ordered our meal at 6:30 and gave specific instructiuons as to the enternce of our apartment building the meal was not only incorrect and cold it did not turn up untill 8:15 and the driver did not have any of the instructions we contacted the resturant and asked to be refunded only to be put on hold and then hung up on DONT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE YOU WILL REGRET IT

    The food was pleasant but not of a quality I would have expected for the price. The servings are small again not what I would expect for the price. The delivery took far to long I orderded at 7:05 and the delivery arrived at 9:25. Which is just not good enough. I will not use them again

    I had no food in the fridge, friends over for dinner, it was raining and we'd all had a couple of drinks already. Got online, ordered what we wanted..... so easy. We couldn't have asked for anymore... great food, delivered to my door and at a really good price... why go out?

    Customer service and speed of meal delivery was really good. However we really didn't like the food here. We ordered Chicken Korma and Chicken Saagwaala. Lacked flavour, tasted like something you'd whip up at home by tipping a jar of supermarket bought Indian sauce over some chicken. The Korma was especially bad, it had very little taste. Have had much better elsewhere. We were not impressed.

    All round a good curry house, I will be ordering again, however may need to let the guys there know that the Korma was hot (as in spicy) and typically I assumed this was a mild curry. I had a Vindaloo and that was good and hot, again the Korma was not enjoyed by my finace, but she loved the Tandoori Chicken wings and loved the keemah naan.

    We are used to the quality and style of food from Punjabi at West End. We ordered korma and Tikka Missalla and found both dishes to be well below par in taste. Yellow rice was not nice at all. Keema Naan bread was okay. Very disappointed.
