    My food took 3 hours to come, popadoms smashed to pieces and it was cold so I had to reheat it.

    I ordered food at 6 and didn't eat till almost 10.

    Tried this place a couple of years ago and it was decent. Went back on Sunday night and it was terrible. The pakora which are supposed to be a selection of mixed veg just contained cauliflower. It was terrible. The main courses all tasted the same. A sort of bland generic curry flavour with the wrong mixes of spices. The nan bread was good however and the price was cheap compared to other restaurants. I guess you get what you pay for. The interior of the restaurant was shabby at best and the temperature was too low to be comfortable. Service wasn't great either. Would not go back.   (Gavin - July, 2012)

    The food was good but after waiting 2 and a half hours it was hard to enjoy. We were promised 1 hr delivery and had to chase up twice with promises each time we would receive in 10 mins with no real apology just an explanation that it was delivered to our neighbour.   (Alan - May, 2012)

    The food was tasty and value for money, but the delivery time was awful. Original time was an hour and a fifteen minutes after I made the order, upon calling after it wasn't delivered after 1:45 I was told they were busy and that it would be another 20 minutes. It finally arrived after two and a half hours from the time I placed the order, no apology from the delivery person. Oh, and they forgot the mango chutney.

    Most likely won't order from them again. Should have read the reviews before ordering, a lot of complaints about delivery.   (Milan - See my reviews (6) - January, 2012)

    arrived 5 mins earlier than promised and very nice. As ex-poms we've eaten a lot of Indian. This is very good. One comment - a dish on the menu could be misread - Aloo shaman jar - doesn't come in jars ;-) but is lovely. Highly recommended.   (Steve - See my reviews (3) - January, 2012)

    Food took too long to be delivered - 90 minutes. When I called they said they had been busy. In that case I shouldnt have received a text saying it would be 50 minutes.

    When arrived some of the food was quite cold.

    2 hours after ordering I still didn't have my food, and when I tried to contact the restaurant the phone was either engaged or there was no answer.

    When my order did finally arrive they had forgotten things which I'd paid for.

    We're a bit spoiled here in Melbourne with great takeaway and i Tandoori Point fell short. I had butter chicken, which although it was nice and thick, had a very strange flavour and the garlic naan was not great. This place reminds me of an indian restaurant owned by Aussies, sauces tasted like something youd get from the supermarket.

    Overall not horrible but wont be calling them again   (Julia - February, 2011)

    25 minutes to confirm the order and then another 2 hours after that before the food arrived (11pm - I was ready for bed!) and then found the order was all wrong - the only thing I really wanted was paneer pakora and they gave me cauliflower! Paratha was missing and what I did get was lukewarm. Apparently their regular chef called in sick and they have a new delivery driver, hmmm. Will try them one more time if I get my money back for this one, otherwise I'll hunt down somewhere else that has paneer pakora!   (Katie - See my reviews (11) - December, 2010)

    I made an order with Tandoori Point at 8:15pm I waited 1.5 hours before I rang the Tandoori Point restaurant chasing my order to be told the delivery guys car broke down and that it would be another 5 mins wait. Another 30 mins later I called back and cancelled the order. Waiting 2 hours for an order is unacceptable. The delivery guy still turned up at 10.15pm so obviously no communication between driver and restaurant.

    I have ordered food from there before and it is good food but service is very poor and I will not be ordering food from there again.   (Lee - November, 2010)
