for $40/ head , the food was below average especially with the competition there is out there.

the thing that amuses me is that these people thinks they have a slight incling that they are are going to make a killing out of a dream.

they need to have a serious look at what the public realy expects . do yourself a favour and ask them for a serve of spagetti bolognaise.

Food was excellent and a good price. Only compaint on the food front was that the "surf" part of my surf & turf consisted of only two prawns and two scallops (they did taste excellent though). For once my steak was cooked to perfection. My partner had the lasagna which he was very happy with. The food came out all together and in good time.

I can't say there was anything too bad about the service but there was nothing great either. Our table was just pointed out to us at the beginning of the night and our waiter never seemed to quite hear us properly. We never had to wait long for service though.   (September, 2008)

Our group of 6 had booked a table for 7pm. We would have been seated for more than 10mins before we had to go and tell a waiter we were ready to order. The guys were dying of thirst waiting to get our drinks delivered, 3 drinks came out, then we had to go ask for the rest. By this stage we were thinking the food better be really good!!

Our mains didnt take too long to come out after ordering and there were no complaints about the food. I had the Terazza Duo, which was steak cooked to perfection with a mushroom sauce and juicy chicken covered in a delectable Champagne cream sauce served with baby potatos and a salad garnish. Yum!

It's a shame the service was so bad, I asked for a bottle of water for the table twice and it never showed up?? Quite noisy too.   (Thirsty! - September, 2008)

I can't fault any of the Terrazza Restaurants.....the Applecross one, where I dine quite regularly, is easily my favourite restaurant in the west. I dine there monthly with a group of ex-work friends and have never yet had a complaint. Thank you.   (See my reviews (3) - June, 2008)

The people who had the pasta with seafood, said that there was very little seafood in each dish. They had different pasta dishes. The lamb shank was good. Charges for corkage were high, and at no time did any staff member mention the charges, or that anyone saw written on the menu. The staff did give us some discount on the corkage once I mentioned this to them. One member of the party said that she would not come back, as it was a little expensive for what she got (i.e. the seafood pasta). Staff were generally friendly, we were asked several times from different staff about drinks and ordering, which appeared that the system of allocating one person to the table was not working that well. In general I personnally felt my meal was good.   (April, 2008)

The Applecross Terrazza is my favourite restaurant and the chosen one for my friends (ex-colleagues) and I to meet at for our monthly lunches. Mediterranean Style building, open plan great atmosphere. Vivacious staff, bright, attentive, not over fussy, just cool and with it and aware of you. I had the Risotto Marina as a main; every seafood item was to perfection, the butterfly pranse melted, and the mussels we tender and fresh, and the calamari perfectly textured and tender.
