Food was excellent, I have been to Thailand and ate at the local restaurants, I dare to say some of the curry dishes at Thai on the Hill are more tasty and fresh.

Only thing is, unless you can book in for the window seats otherwise the ambience is pretty ordinary, my partner and I always request to sit next to the window so you can have some privacy, as the tables in the middle of the restaurant are close to each other.

However, we always went there on weekend, very busy nights, so it might be different on a week day

We love Thai on the Hill, it is a really family favourite. The food is always excellent as well as the service. We will keep coming back for more.

The food was excellent, very tasty and nice all round...BUT...it took one hour to get our entree and then another 40 mins to get the main. The restaurant was not that full and there were other tables waiting longer than us. If the speed of the kitchen improved and perhaps they changed the ambiance to more of a Thai style it would be a great place. I would be very disappointed if i went there again and received the same service. Luckily we had good company with us that night and entertained ourselves during the long wait.   (Thai on the hill - Long wait - July, 2008)

Been here several times over the last few years. Has always been one of our favourite restaurants. The food is exquisite, from the entrees, right through to desert. Perfect portion sizes for every course. My only criticism, albeit small is that sometimes waitstaff forget to check the tables for finished drinks etc.   (Jason Cornelius - April, 2008)

Thai on the Hill Restaurant is a very nice small restaurant. I have been there several times and never had a bad meal. The banquet meal was especially good as I had the opportunity to try different dishes that I have not tasted before. The curries are flavorsome and the Jungle Curry is worth a try for people who like it hot.   (Hills Diner - March, 2007)
