Thaila Thai is what it is. Very good food at a very reasonable price. If you expect to get high end waiters, flash surroundings and 5 star service, then don't go there. Go somewhere else and get screwed paying for stuff that doesn't matter. We go there probably twice a month and they are usually quick and efficient. On rare occasions they fumble but really, who cares. On a simple value for money assessment, Thaila Thai is exceptional.   (Thaila Thai - December, 2009)

My Family and I have always enjoyed the great food at Thaila Thai, we travel from the Macedon Ranges just to go there as the food is always great, service has always been good with very attentative staff. Great value for money.   (Leanne - March, 2009)

If you're looking for a quiet night of dining, this really isn't the place to go. However, if you're in the mood for some cheap and generally very good Thai food - then Thaila Thai is it. 'Mains' are really basically platters of said dish to share, and I'd generally advise a table of three only to order two mains, otherwise you're garunteed to have a whole raft of leftovers.

Upon leaving, there's generally some kind of pile of fruit or flower by the door, which you're encouraged to grab as much as you want of.   (Jodiechrist - See my reviews (3) - January, 2009)

I used to love this place. They had such great tasty food. Now it is watery and almost tastless. The prices are still cheap. The service is poor and it took ages to get a seat, even though I had booked a few days prior. I don't think I'll be eating here again.   (See my reviews (2) - June, 2008)

I have been to this restaurant once before with friends and that is why I wanted to go there for Valentine's Day. My partner and I both enjoy Thai food. Unfortunately being Valentine's Day, they were very busy and even though I had made a reservation, we ended up waiting for a table for nearly 20 minutes. However one of the waitresses did find us a table downstairs and we were on the end of another table where 2 people were already sitting.

It didn't take too long after that for a waitress to take our order, and then give us glasses for the bottle of wine we had brought with us.

The food didn't take too long and we enjoyed all the dishes emmensely. We even had enough left over to take a doggy bag home.

It only cost us $35 and we were full. As I walked out the door the main chef offered me a red rose, which was a lovely way to finish off the experience. We will be going back, just not on Valentine's Day.   (February, 2008)

The food was fantastic. However it was disappointing that half our meals came out 15 minutes before the other meals came out, and that half my guests were left waiting and wondering where their meals were. Waiters also brought meals out that were not even sure what the meals were-for example when asked if a curry that was brought out was fish or chicken the waiter had no idea. The bill was also poorly written and very hard to read.   (January, 2008)

The only problem I had was that they were unsure of our booking.

It wasn't written down. So from now on I'll be ringing to make a booking.   (Aaron Maguire - July, 2007)
