Dined at the Bended Elbow last night on a meal deal through Living Social. Found the food amazing - huge servings. Great value for money. Highly recommend it.   (Lee and Ray - April, 2012)

Shocking service, our table waited for an hour and twenty minutes for our meals and the meals came out cold, one person on our table had ordered a medium rare steak and it came out charcoaled, the waiter was extremely rude when notified that the meals where cold, and that we would like replacement meal. I will never eat at the Bended Elbow again. Worst meal I have ever had.   (Bad expirence - April, 2011)

Booked a table, arrived on time couldnt find anybody to assist us, when we finally found somebody, they advised they had given our booking to somebody else.

Will in future not bother with this appalling restaurant/bar   (Anthony - June, 2010)

Service is minimal but the lunch specials are awesomely cheap and delicious! Good value for money - I definitely recommend the lunchtime specials! A little dark but good atmosphere for a pub! My partner and I have been here many times and will be back!   (See my reviews (3) - July, 2009)

I was disappointed with my meal. I had the Surf & Turf & the best part of the meal were the prawns. The steak was tough. Garlic cob loaf was lovely. There wasn't any service, had to go & ask for a menu. We have been there before & service was better.   (May, 2009)

The food was very nice, great value for money. As our first time there we were not sure on how the service was run, we were not greeted as we walked in so had to ask the bar staff, then we had to find our own menu as there was not one on our reserved table, apart from that the rest of the service was great we had a lovely dinner.   (June, 2008)

Nice atmosphere but music was a bit loud making it hard to have a conversation. Service was good but fried food was a bit oily/greasy but good sized proportions.   (January, 2008)
