The parking was convenient and the place was spacious. The interior decoration and view was very nice. However that is where the good things end. The steak was cooked wrong and poorly even after being sent back for being too overcooked. The fish and chips was cold, soggy, fishy and bland. Our main was left half untouched. The wait staff were almost non existent hiding in the back, and when they finally surface they are curt and rude. I will not go back again, in fact after the main course, the experience was so bad that we left immediately (could not wait to get away from their rude treatment) and lost our appetite for dessert.

Ok, this is a place where you really are paying for the view. The food is fine but not special, the interiors are beautiful with rich, solid native wood floors inviting you in but the place is let down badly by the service - or lack of it. Wait staff borer on rudeness and are basically poorly trained with the majority appearing to have missed customer service 101. I would recommend it for a drink on a sunny day, so that you can soak in the view but not much else.

i found staff we too toffee nosed which spoilt the evening, the meals were pretty average for the price you were paying to.

While the restaurant was adequately patronised, we really did not enjoy our meals, the service was slow, one of the dishes came out under cooked [the Mt Barker chicken] and due to the lateness of the service we did not comment to the staff. The vegetarian dishes were non-existant and they modified their pasta dishes to accommidate the 4 vegetarians in our group - the pasta sauces - both the tomato and the creamy variations were not 'creamy; rather watery and tasteless - all in all a big disappointment. Vaule for money: nil as there was not enough on the plate to justify the cost. Double disappointment as it was supposed to be 18th birthday dinner for our daughters who are both vegetarian. A let down to say the least.

service was really terrible. It was over priced, they messed us around with our drinks, just kept ordering twice as many drinks as we ordered and just dumping them on the table. The food was great, but because the service was so bad, i wouldn't go there again. Oh and also $40 for garlic bread!!???
