Chef | John T Bailey - John T. Bailey is passionate about food. He has worked at leading restaurants throughout the world including the Dorchester in London, Regent Sydney, Palm Meadows and Sheraton Hobart Hotel. He spent nine years working for Lactos Cheese Company cooking and demonstrating their produce throughout Australia and Asia. The Banc Restaurant is his first personal restaurant. Generally love the food also but last time I was a ittle dissappointed with the selection, though this is more my personal taste than a critisism of the dishes themselves. The Gravlax was the best I've had in a long time and the desserts were also devine.... the 'three things lemon' and Belmont Strawberries (love the use of truly local products, Lee told us these are grown at a small farm five minutes down the road!) are a must for dessert- make sure you save room.
