We have been dining at the Banc regularly since it opened and the food and service has always been of the highest standard. As a rural town Swansea is fortunate to have several excellent food establishments, the Banc being one of them.   (B&K - May, 2010)

We were recommended to visit the Banc and had heard that the food was delicious. We walked in and were greeted by an unsmiling, surly, grumpy woman. She said that she could not possibly serve us dinner as the restaurant had been "packed out". We looked around and there were about 5 other people in the place. She also said it was too late but the customers seemed to have just sat down, and the kitchen staff appeared to be busy in the background. We enquired as to whether there was anywhere else open in the area and the woman just replied that there was not but also conveyed very effectively that she could not care less. Surely it would not have been too much hassle to make 2 extra mains for us??? Is decent customer service and a little kindness too difficult? Is making money the most terrible thing in the world? We had become engaged that day and ended up, celebrating with a packet of chips. Thanks a lot. I couldn't believe this attitude; I certainly won't be recommending the Banc to anyone. In fact, quite the opposite, I've been telling everyone I know to never go there. Apparently we were not the only ones to have problems with your attitude. Great career move!   (The Banc - April, 2010)

How can such a small town be blessed with such an amazing restaurant. We have eaten at many restaurants around Australia and this one is up there for food, service, ambience and a damn good time.   (Jacinta Ray - June, 2009)
