      Very disappointing, went for a mates birthday on Thursday night and I was surprised it was almost empty. Our waiter was great but all down hill from there, the food all round was very poor. My wife had the seafood pasta which was tastless, my duck was $30 for just one small duckleg/thigh which was bland sitting on some very ordinary rice, two of our friends had a lamb dish looked like a lamb chop slapped on some vegies again flavour not great. Really a very ordinary meal. Nice staff but with food like that you would never go back   (Eric - May, 2011)

      When I have dined here in the past I have found the experience to be very pleasurable with great food, but my recent experience was a little disappointing. The food was still great but I think is a little too expensive for what you get. The restaurant was 1/2 full, but we had to wait half an hour before even getting to order and the food was very slow in coming. The staff seemed to ignore us and were disorganised.

      We were out for a birthday celebration so it made it even more disappointing that the overall experience wasn't as good as before.   (greend04 - See my reviews (2) - April, 2009)

      I was quite pleased with the experience I had at the boathouse restaurant. The food was tasty, the service was pretty good considering the amount of people and we were happy to pay the amount we paid for the food and dining.   (Brianna - See my reviews (2) - November, 2008)

    The River Room

    Our over water function room located on level one of The Boathouse is one of the most unique venues on the Sunshine Coast. The River Room offers light wide open spaces to capture and maximise the breathtaking 180 degree views of the Noosa River. This venue can comfortably accommodate up to 120 guests for a sit down occasion or up to 200 guests for a stand up cocktail style function.

    The Sunset Bar

    The Sunset Bar is situated on the top level of The Boathouse. It features timber panelling with soft modern furnishings. This level has a balcony built off the room to extend the entertaining space and to allow your guests to enjoy the uninterrupted views up and down the Noosa River. With spectacular sunset viewing this venue can cater to stand up cocktail functions for up to 70.
