    Not at all what we were expecting but a very pleasant surprise - elegant decor with a comfortable feel - good food - excellent service delivered in a quiet refind manner.

      We happenned on this restaurant by chance, and walking past you could easily miss it. The restaurant is in an old style converted house with the decor unpretentious and of casual appearance. In total contrast to what you may expect, our dining experience was memorable in the nicest way. While the service could have improved slightly given that they were only half full (we had too long a wait to place our order), the food could not be faulted. The prices were quite reasonable, with some excellent wines on offer. Well worth a return visit.   (Winkle - See my reviews (22) - October, 2010)

      We accidently were there on the night of the Chinese New Year. We were given a lovely minature chinese dress which fitted neatly over the wine bottle to take home, what a lovely gift. Food was fantastic, could not fault the service and the atmosphere. Thoroughtly recommend this restaurant a truly lovely night, we will definately return   (anne m - See my reviews (73) - February, 2009)
