      We recently had a function at the clarendon for our work christmas party. We had a 3 course set menu at a great price of $47.50 per person. The level of service is a credit to the hotel and the food was wonderful and precise. I would recommend with no hesitation to have a function with the clarendon hotel. The communication between myself and the restaurant manager was very pleasing and where ever I needed questions answered or emailed her regarding food choices etc her response was very quick.

      We will definitely be booking with the clarenon again soon.   (ellie - November, 2010)

      I recently celebrated my 40th Birthday here with 30 of my closest friends and family. We all kept commenting on the fantastic service and hospitality of the staff. All the staff were always smiling, always asking what more THEY could do for us, and ALWAYS prompt with any drink/food we asked for. The meals were excellent value for money, hot and delivered to us so quickly. The menu caters for all tastes and all budgets and dietary requirements and with large meal servings, making all the men at the table very happy. You can't go past the Clarendon Hotel Restaurant for one of the best nights out in Newcastle!   (Newcastle Lass - See my reviews (4) - October, 2010)

      We recently had a farewell dinner at The Clarendon hotel brasserie and were pleasantly surprised. There was live music playing and a great atmosphere in the beer garden. The pub itself was busy but it didn’t feel overcrowded or like you were being rushed too quickly to eat and leave so they could sit the next table. I was quite surprised by how well they handled a big group booking on such a busy evening.   (Clarendon Hotel - August, 2010)

      This hotel is one of a kind.Every time myself and friends go there we enjoy ourselves and have a great time. The staff smile at you every time you enter the building.. A dying art!!! There ever so helpful and will always make time for you.Our meals are always well presented and extremely tasty. I always recommend the Clarendon to anyone who asks "where is good to eat" in Newcastle.   (Amanda - See my reviews (3) - August, 2010)

    Looking for a large booking? Look no further then The Clarendon Hotel. We can accommodate groups of 10 - 80 people.

    In summer time our undercover awning area opens out into our lovely beer garden, in the winter we have heating inside and out.

    Live entertainment is provided on Friday & Saturday nights.

    Table service is provided for food and beverages.
