This is my second visit to the Little Snail and the only complaint I have is that the staff seem to assume that they do not need to give you change.

This is the second time this has happened and even though we had every intention of leaving the five dollar plus tip, we were not given the opportunity to make that decision even after waiting another ten minutes after paying the bill no change was brought back to the table.

So while I totally enjoy the food , I very much doubt my party and I will visit the little snail again.

It was a bit bizarre that 3 courses were $32, but if you had just a main($22) and an entree ($22) it was $44. Better of having 3 courses and not eating one??

I am a coeliac and the waitresses / chef had no problem at all adapting anything on the menu to exclude gluten/wheat for me. The waitress and service were great. I had the salmon on risotto and it was really tasty, well presented. Wine on offer was good, with almost everything by the glass or bottle.

We were seated too close to the door where people keeps going in and out.

The staff are very nice and professional.

the food was nice. But the glazing sauce on the duck was too sweet, the creme caramel was too eggy. the presentation was pleasant. Over all we had a lovely time.

Booked Little Snail for a birthday party of 16 on a Saturday evening. Had a corner of restaurant to ourselves. Service was perfect as we were not rushed and wanted to take our time. Fantastic value considering a la carte was included in the price. All our guests spoke very highly of the food and the service. Highly recommended

Dinning experience terrible, cold apertiser, had to ask for our bread numerous times whilst eating our mains, wine did not arrive until after our apertiser, mains quiet bland in flavour, desert was nice though. waitress was very unprofessional in her manner eg. we wanted to wait for our mains, and finally enjoy our wine she said the kitchen is pressuring her to hurry up. No French atmosphere, very Australian.

Considering this is a "French" restaurant I felt that the atmosphere was very "Australian. I would have enjoyed it more had it been more French. We were not greeted in French but in English and the waiters spoke English with no French at all. Not even a Merci. Overall the food was sensational but I would have liked it if it was more French.

A very nice restaurant, with a good choice of dishes on the set menu. Staff were really welcoming and attentive, though not intrusive.
