The Top Paddock provided for a wonderful evening out with the girls. We booked the alcove and could chat freely over a fantastic meal and a couple of glasses of good wine. The food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the special of grilled John Dory - So yummy! The service was very good and friendly banter readily exchanged. Hadnt been for a while but popped in for dinner with a couple of friends recently. I would highly recommend the latest offering on the menu, braised rack of lamb, lightly marinated lamb infused with a smidge of salt, pepper and i think spices served on top of mash and vegies. "Sensational" washed down with a glass of wine. My friends loved the grand rib-eye steak, cooked to perfection. Thanks for a lovely evening.   (the top paddock - See my reviews (2) - January, 2010)

I must be from a different planet than some of the people that have nothing better to do than knock somebody elses endevour. this is the case with this small restaurant in the sububurbs.having dinner there only last week all i can say about it ,is ,it was excellent.my wife loved the duck, and I loved the big rib eye which was cooked to perfection and did not come with all the fancy sauces like other places.

Good, full of flavour simply brilliant.Service was good thr people were friendly and relaxed,and the ambiance was great. We couldn't ask for anything else,   (george D - December, 2009)

what's happened to good tasting food- look no further than the Top Paddock Restaurant. Desperate for a meal and wanting to avoid my normal bad habit of hitting the fast food drive throughs, this gem of a restaurant hidden in wantirna invites you to take a load off and spend a little time in its warm embrace. Welcomed with a warm smile by the owners upon entering, i sensed that i had chosen wisely. The pasta de stefano was my choice and it hit the spot, the napoli sauce with a sprinkling of cracked pepper and parmesan cheese was just what the doctor ordered and you could tell it was freshly made and not simply poured straight from the jar. Topped off with one of the best tasting coffees i've had in a while, comparable to anything my lygon street friends could create, i'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality, ambience and the feeling of having finally arrived home.   (the top paddock - See my reviews (2) - April, 2009)

Great food! fresh, modern and tasty!

The food and service has never dropped below excellent. This is our new favorite place for breaky, lunch and dinner.

I just wish there was better parking during the day. But no fault of the restaurant   (Di - See my reviews (4) - December, 2008)

My girlfriends and I met for breakfast on saturday morning. We were a little disappointed there wasn't any pancakes or sweet brekky menu items, but enjoyed the vegie breakfasts.

The service was a bit so-so - food was quick to come, but the waitresses didn't come back to check if we needed more drinks or water. Also, it was a little noisey - I'm assuming this is due to the glass wall (allowed to open for al fresco dining). We weren't yelling to hear each other, but it certainly wasn't quiet.

We would go again because it's a lovely spot in the suburbs without having to go into a big shopping centre. That's definately a big plus. The coffee was lovely. :)   (See my reviews (2) - November, 2008)

Ducked in there yesterday for a quick lunch with my wife - service very good as was the food - quick criticism (and not really important) we are both "older" & some of us "older" people don't like being called "guys" - other than that we would have no hesitation in returning and/or recommending this little restaurant to any prospective (& hungry) customer   (Tone - January, 2008)
