"I have been to the Turban Indian Restaurant several times and have always had great experiences. Friday and Saturday night there is a buffet with chicken, lamb, beef, fish and vegetarian dishes, pappadums, naan, rice etc as well as Indian desserts. It is sensational and only $30 per person for all you can eat. My favourite dishes are goan fish curry, prawn marsala and butter chicken. T.."

This is, hands down, the best Indian Restaurant in Perth. (July, 2009) Overall 8.3 - Food 10, Ambience 8, Value 8, Service 7
My best friend and i enjoy north Indian food very much. As a 'ritual' we like to visit Turban every three months or so for its divine butter chicken, mango lassi and secluded boothing. We love the fact that we can chit chat the night away without disrupting others. Each time we have visited, the food has been consistent and the service is genuinely friendly (although it can be quite slow at times with meals taking anywhere between 15 to 30 mins to be served). I would definitely recommend this place to others to try. Keep it up guys. (saaarx - See my reviews (2) - July, 2009) Overall 10 - Food 10, Ambience 10, Value 10, Service 10

tried their buffet on a saturday night. place was packed and felt lucky we booked. welcomed by one charming indian waitress who took us to a cosy corner booth. buffet had entree tanndoori chicken, pakora along with mint chutny. they had two chicken dishes, lamb, beef, fish and 4 vegetables, it was the best butter chicken i ever had since i left india 20 years ago. there were 6 desserts. tea coffee as well. down side was there was a big line to the buffet but definetely worth the wait.. their customer comment book at the front made me realise how successful this place is. keep it up guys. Two charming young waitresses did their best but were understaffed on evening. had to go to counter to remind them of rice order to go with meat (they had not delivered enough for 7 people at beginning) Also did not get Mango drink even though they were reminded twice However we still enjoyed the meal we will eat their again but try to take more time (November, 2007) Overall 6.5 - Food 8, Ambience 5, Value 6, Service 7
The buffet food was nice but limited. There was one chicken, fish, meat and vegetable dish to choose from but there were salads and dessert however they also are limited. The naan bread was excellent. Unfortunately they are slow to refill trays as they empty. The sit down/ takeaway menu does offer a lot more of a selection and the quality is very good plus you can request varying heat levels. The food is very good but the wine glasses are small so BYO.
